# Siteon vs. Webflow and Framer

Webflow and Framer are visual site builders: you design inside their editor, and hosting, a CMS and forms come with it, from about $10 to $25 a month per site billed yearly (official prices checked 2026-10-04). Siteon does not design anything; it adds hosting, owner editing and forms to HTML you already have, such as a site generated by AI, from $4/month per site. Choose Webflow or Framer to design visually and keep the site in their editor; choose Siteon when the site already exists as code and you want to keep it that way.

## How they differ

| | Webflow / Framer | Siteon |
|---|---|---|
| Where the design is made | In their visual editor | Anywhere: AI tools, your editor, a static site generator |
| Moving an existing AI-built site | Rebuild it in their editor | Add one script tag and attributes, then deploy the folder |
| What the business owner can edit | Content in the editor, depending on roles | Only the areas you mark in the HTML |
| Form auto-reply and Slack | Depends on plan and integrations (not checked for this page) | Included on every plan |
| Control from AI agents | Not compared here | CLI, MCP server and API keys |
| Your own domain | Available today | (coming soon) (shared subdomain until then) |

## Where Webflow and Framer are the better choice

- **Design freedom in a visual editor.** Layout, interactions and animation are built visually, with no code. Siteon has no design tool at all
- **Templates and a large community** to start from
- **Everything in one place today,** including custom domains, which Siteon hosting doesn't offer yet
- **Non-developers who change the layout often.** With Siteon, layout changes happen in the code (or through your AI tool)

## Where Siteon fits better

- The site already exists as HTML, for example generated by Claude, Cursor, v0 or Bolt, and you don't want to rebuild it
- You want the owner to change only specific text and photos, without being able to break the design
- You build many small sites for clients and want one low price per site, with no per-seat charges
- You want an AI agent to publish and maintain the site

Siteon is infrastructure for AI-built websites: it adds hosting, a CMS your client can edit, contact forms, analytics and control from AI agents (CLI and MCP) around static HTML built with AI or by hand, so it is ready to ship.
